Seasons Greetings

Since I got seriously back into gaming and started this blog, I've really neglected my garden railway (as described in the "Interlude" post in November), so it's nice to know that the inhabitants of Hedgebottom bear no grudges, and have in fact sent a 'Greeting card' !

To be honest, normally when I'm out maintaining the railway is the only time I tend to the garden - so it had got into a bit of a state, and I've been forced by the "household authorities" to get it tidied up before Christmas. Spending some time out there prompted me to post an appropriate photo.......
 ..... and I couldn't come up with a game-related theme for a card!!

How much hobby time I manage to squeeze in over the unpredictable weekend is anybody's guess, so just in case I don't manage another post before the big day, MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone out there. I hope you all have a good one!

    1. Thank you Bryan, and the best of the season to you too :-)
I reckon it'll be just the blogging side that'll be quiet over Christmas - I haven't packed away a thing from the paint table, so I've no doubt I'll be sneaking in a few brush strokes when SWMBO isn't looking ;-)

(and I suspect that with all the graft you've been putting in recently, you'll enjoy putting your feet up as well as the festivities!)

    3. Looking forward to it immensely, and been avoiding any spoilers like the plague (which has now spread to Bradshaigh after the menfolk were wiped out by the 'vile abominations'!)

    1. Many thanks Joe, as I suspected, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (which have gone by in a blur!) turned into a "blog free zone". I don't remember a more hectic festive period!
The tinsel is settling now though, so I've got the chance to play 'catch up'.
      I hope you've had a great time in Zabadak's World :-)

  5. Picture perfect!
It’s been a real pleasure as Bryan said, some really cracking posts this year.
I received your package yesterday mate and I’m really impressed, they’re a little small for my supermarket build but will be perfect for some of the builds I have in mind for 2018 - thank you for your generosity this year!
    Merry Christmas buddy

  6. Merry Christmas to you and your family Greg.

Great picture mate. I'm very jealous of your garden railway and it's very picturesque with the snow. Something we just don't get down under.

I've had a lot of fun following your blog over the year and I look forward to more next year.

    1. Many thanks Tim, and I hope you've had a cracker of a Christmas yourself :-)
It HAS been very much a time for "family" (it's been the first Christmas without my Dad), but everyone has pulled together and gone the extra yard for each other.

    1. Thanks Steve - I can't resist the whiff of hot steam oil ;-) The battery powered "diesel loco's" are really just standby motive power while waiting for the pressure to rise!
I'm just sorry it wasn't the AAR you were expecting, but the Christmas Hecticity put paid to those plans!
All the best for the New Year to you, The Emerald Musketeers, and all at TGC! :-)
